AAF Mobile Bay Member Spotlight – Sarah Bumgarner
Name: Sarah Bumgarner
How long have you been an AAF Member?
A few months
What is your company name and position?
I work for Lifelines Counseling Services as the Marketing Manager and also run Neat Marketing, a company I started to help local businesses with their social media campaigns and online marketing efforts.
Why did you join AAF Mobile?
I was a member in the past and know the value of being a part of this local AAF group. I enjoy the networking with other individuals in the area in the same professions plus continuing my development in my field through the educational lunches.
What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about using my talents to help other people in my area. I recently left a thriving advertising boutique in Mobile to pursue a career in the non-profit sector because I felt I could better use my talents to help others in my community. It has been very rewarding so far!
What is your guilty pleasure?
I am a sucker for reality TV, especially Big Brother, The Voice & Survivor. I also love that with the use of social media I can connect with others who enjoy the shows as well.
What is your favorite app or social media outlet? Why?
It’s really hard to choose just one favorite because each social media site has a different use. I really love Twitter because it gives users the opportunity to filter through what they are interested in, allows people the ability to direct tweet celebrities, brands and whatever else they are interested in, and it also brings like-minded people together, whether it’s gardening, marketing, politics, etc.
