For students interested in the American Advertising Federation, a local student chapter was formed at the University of South Alabama in 2010. Students at USA interested in becoming a member of the student chapter can find information on their Facebook page.

Bettie Hudgens Memorial Scholarship

AAF Mobile Bay established this scholarship in honor of Bettie Hudgens. The scholarship is awarded annually to deserving students studying advertising, marketing, public relations, art, design or a related field. Students do not have to be a member of AAF Mobile Bay to be eligible. Criteria for selection includes a formal cover letter, a detailed resume and an unofficial college transcript. Applicants must be a rising junior or senior at a 4-year college, or a second year student at a 2-year college at the time of application.

The deadline for the 2022-2023 school year is November 4, 2022.

AAF District 7 Scholarships

AAF District 7 is intensely passionate about students and offers several scholarship opportunities each year. Current scholarships include the Jan Gardner Memorial Scholarship and the Mosaic Scholarship.

AAEF

The Alabama Advertising Education Foundation (AAEF) was established to support students in the state of Alabama pursuing a college degree in the field of advertising. Each year, the AAF clubs in the state of Alabama contribute to funds for scholarships and travel expenses for student chapters who participate in the National Student Advertising Competition (NSAC).

AAF Mobile Bay is a local chapter affiliated with the American Advertising Federation. As a member of District 7 and the national AAF, the chapter welcomes members located in Mobile and Baldwin counties with an interest in advertising.
